The Industrial Tech kids are busy building things again!

A new team is formed at Montezuma!

Channel 13's RVTV is rolling into Montezuma this afternoon! There are so many fun activities planned! Catch our student athletes in the parade, a sneak peak from the musical, the DECA dunk tank, and the best pep band in the land as they open for the High Bank Boys!

Update on tonight's Junior Varsity football game!

We loved watching the kids get their steps in!

Unfortunately, the heat is going to be an issue again tomorrow, so the XC meet at Sigourney has been canceled.

The Third Grade Class has a reminder for you!!

You may have noticed a few new faces around campus! As we kick off the 2026–27 school year, we're excited to welcome two new staff members and celebrate three others stepping into new roles. Read on to learn a bit more about each of them!

Update on today's Cross Country meet!

A busy full week of school is up ahead!

Congratulations to Vivian Cook (15th), Dayton Reif (8th), and Ava Anderson (1st) for medaling at their opening XC meet last night. Both the boys and girls teams placed 4th overall!

Many are so, so excited about the first day of school, but in second grade, Mrs. Roorda and Mrs. Dye and their classes are super excited about the second day of 2nd Grade!!!!

Hazel has missed all of her friends. She can't wait to see them all at Open House tonight!

Softball and baseball season has wrapped up- with both making it to the second round in post season play! We are so proud of you and all of your hard work!

Four days until the Iowa High School Musical Theater Awards! There are 7 students representing Montezuma in the show. Tickets sold out in 10 minutes this year, but you can still watch the live stream Thursday night!

Sophia and Sydnee are also headed to state in their individual events: the discus and 200-meter dash! Way to go, ladies!

Congratulations, ladies, on your 1st place finishes at districts and punching your tickets to state!

Earlier this week, Sra. Stockman took her senior Spanish students to Des Moines for a " taste of the countries" where they sampled chilaquiles, empanadas, aguas frescas, pupusas, pastelitos, & empanadas de platano.

Community: At this time, Montezuma Schools does not have internet or phone connection. Please be patient as we are trying to figure this out. Thank you and Happy Friday 😊
Great job, ladies!
