On Thursday, we celebrated the 100th day of school!!! Students got to play “where is Mr. O’Rourke” looking for all the mini pictures hidden throughout the elementary!

Montezuma is now taking bids for a 1979 International 4700 Dump Truck. This truck comes with a Belly Blade, Front Blade and Sander. Accepting bids until Noon on January 16.

The kindergarten students have had an awesome week, from building snowmen at recess to setting traps for the gingerbread man! Remember, tomorrow's dress-up day is dress like a gingerbread man or in workout clothes💚❤️

Montezuma Community Schools is hosting the 2025 SICL Honor Choir next week. Mark your calendars to join us next Tuesday, November 18th in the North Gym at 7:00. It is a $5 entry fee.

Mr. Swenson & Montezuma FFA traveled out to Indianapolis last week to compete at the National FFA Convention! Montezuma FFA had three groups compete, Conduct of ChapterMeetings, AG Communications, & Farm Business Management.
Conduct of Chapter meetings team consisting of Olivia Latcham, Abby Henkle, Hayden Sutherland, Sophia Semprini, Lexi Rose, Isaiah Wilson, and Emma Snook. Alternates were Lauryn Larmore and Kelsie Mostek. This group moved on to the 2nd round, placed 11th nationally & received a gold rating. Congratulations!
Congratulations to the Agriculture Communications team consisting of Vivian Cook, Rylee Thompson, Gracie Wilson, and Leah Urfer for being named National Champions! This group worked hard to take a 50 question test & then create a feature story, video production, social media plan, and a promotional magazine.
Lastly, congratulations to the Farm & Agribusiness Management team consisting of Brady Boulton, Broox Stockman, Peyton Tindle & Claire Erselius for being named National Champions. This group put in long hours studying for a 3 hour test & a team activity. Broox Stockman & Brady Boulton also placed 3rd & 7th individually.

We are bucket drumming 🥁 in 6th grade. Fun way to learn rhythms!

Mrs. Semprini's middle school students are working hard preparing for their Mock Trial contest in Mount Vernon later this month.




Preschool was pretty excited to have visitors from the First State Bank visit and gift us with fun ghost treats to take home! The kids were very excited about their gift and wanted to learn more about what “bank workers” do! Thank you again to First State Bank for making the preschoolers’ day on Thursday!
