Iowa State University
Iowa State now uses OneApp as their scholarship portal to allow one centralized location to input information for scholarships.
One scholarship all Iowans who plan on going to Iowa State should look at is the Hixson Opportunity Award.

University of Iowa
University of Iowa has several scholarship opportunities, many of which are based on financial need and/or merit. For additional scholarship opportunities, visit the Iowa Scholarship Portal.
If you declare physics or astronomy as your major, you may be eligible for the Strayer-Rairden Scholarship.
University of Northern Iowa
University of Northern Iowa has many scholarship opportunties, and by using the UNI Scholarship application you can apply for hundreds at 1 time.

At Waldorf, they have the Pillars Scholarship available among other scholarship opportunities.
William Penn University
William Penn has plenty of opportunities for a student to earn a scholarship. Ask the admissions representative about the Iowa Pride Scholarship. If you are in band, you can speak to the director of athletic bands about scholarship opportunities.
Iowa Pride Scholarship (If eligible, student will pay $5,000 or less per year) Eligibility Requirements:
- Graduate from Iowa high school with a 3.00 cumulative GPA or higher
- Student is an Iowa Resident
- File FAFSA by July 1 prior to that academic year
- Enroll at William Penn as a full-time student in the fall following high school graduation
Indian Hills Community College
