In the nomination response, the writer noted that special teachers make a lasting impact on Montezuma students-clearly Mrs. Kaup has done that.
Mrs. Kaup is in her second year as the K-12 vocal teacher at Montezuma Community School District, but she started making a difference early on through musicals and the speech and drama program. Through her dedication and efforts, she has grown the vocal program and reminded students the importance music and performance can play in a person's life.
