Students from Montezuma worked hard alongside Wartburg College vocal staff and composer Dan Forrest for two days! Congratulations to Mya Smothers, Gracie Wilson, Lauren Daniels, Jayden Doll, Ethan Desrochers and Isaiah Wilson on performing in the Mesitersinger Honor Choir! The choir was made up of students from 104 schools from the midwest. About 350 students were chosen to participate from over 500 submissions.
Six Montezuma choir students have been selected to attend Wartburg's Honor Choir Monday, January 26th. Honor choir participants get the honor to attend lessons, rehearsals and meet other students from across Iowa's choir programs. All of this will culminate with a concert on the evening of January 26th.
Congratulations to this year's students: Gracie Wilson, Isaiah Wilson, Mya Smothers, Ethan Desrochers, Lauren Daniels and Jayden Doll.
