This week, our Softball program donated to the Colon Cancer Coalition, $4,000!!!! As a softball program (nicknamed the Support Squad) we raised $2,000 from T-Shirt sales, Inning Sponsors, and Donations. Pella Corporation matched our donation of $2,000 bringing the total to $4,000 donated to help bring awareness to colon cancer, research/development, and helping bring the percentage of the people doing screening up to over 80%.
We have an amazing group of parents, staff members, community leaders, community members and the list go on and on. Everyone joined together on June 27th, including HLV fans to help support an amazing cause that night at the ball field. Hope this was able to make everyone’s day a little brighter. Thank you all who came out to support and represent our communities in such a positive way.
