Hello! My name is Tim Burgess and I am currently working at Montezuma Community Schools as a special education teacher, School Facilitator and Activities Director. I am so honored to be a part of the Montezuma staff and feel fortunate to have the opportunity to work with our students, staff, and families. 

Montezuma Community Schools provides an opportunity through academics, athletics and activities to become a well-rounded and successful student.  We offer many of the traditional sports at Montezuma such as football, volleyball, cross country, wrestling, basketball, track, golf, softball, baseball, cheer and dance.  Our school and community takes great pride in our athletic teams, clubs and activities. Our Braves and Bravettes represent us well and with PRIDE.

Montezuma's Activity programs are exceptional and we offer our students many great experiences and opportunities. We have FFA, Speech and Drama, Fall Musical, Spring Variety Show, Mock Trial, Pep Band, and Vocal Music. We also have an exceptional Shooting Sports program. This is just a start to what students can be involved in at Montezuma.  We are very proud of these activities and take pride in being successful!  Our activities, clubs and athletic teams work hard to provide a supportive balance, flexibility and collaborative environment so students can represent us well and show off their talents in as many areas as they can.  We take tremendous PRIDE in our core beliefs and demonstrate that in all we do at Montezuma.
