Hello, I’m John Beck, the Middle School Science teacher and High School history teacher. Hopefully here you will find out a little about myself and the classes that I teach at the best school in America. 

Education  

I graduated from BGM in 2011. I then decided to go to Buena Vista. I majored in Secondary Education with Social Studies as my focus as well as an endorsement in Middle School Science. I was there for 5 years and graduated in Spring of 2016.

Teaching

I started teaching at Montezuma in the fall of 2016 so I am in my 3rd year of teaching. Currently I teach 7th Grade Science and Geography, Military History, American West, and Government.

Fun Facts

I am the assistant coach for the following sports: JH Football, HS Basketball, HS Baseball. I am also a loving husband and father. I enjoy spending time with my family whenever I am not busy. The best part of being a father is having the dad jokes already down. I am an huge fan of the Cubs and the Iowa Hawkeyes.
